How to select appropriate molecular sieve for O2 concentrator?

Molecular sieve is widely used in PSA systems to obtain high purity O2.

The O2 concentrator draws in air and removes nitrogen from it, leaving the O2 rich gas for people who need medical O2 due to low O2 levels in their blood.

There are two types of molecular sieve: lithium molecular sieve and 13XHP zeolite molecular sieve

In our life, we usually hear about 3L, 5L O2 concentrator and so on.

But how to choose Auger's molecular sieve products for different O2 concentrators?

Now let's take the 5L O2 concentrator as an example:

First, O2 purity: lithium molecular sieve and 13XHP can reach 90-95%

Second, to get the same capacity as O2, for 13XHP, you should fill about 3KG, but for lithium zeolite, only 2KG, saving tank volume.

Thirdly, the adsorption rate, lithium molecular sieve is faster than 13XHP, which means that if you want to get the same capacity of O2, lithium molecular sieve is faster than 13XHP.

Fourth, due to different raw materials, the cost of lithium molecular sieve is higher than 13XHP.
